Edit Class Instructor

ADMINISTRATION -> Terms -> Term -> Class -> Edit Class Instructor


This screen is used to assign an instructor to a class.

  • Instructor: name of the instructor. Click to the right to select an instructor from the staff.
  • Primary Instructor: "Yes" if this is the primary instructor of the class, "No" otherwise. Only one instructor can be marked as primary, setting an instructor as primary will reset any other instructor who was previously marked as primary.
  • Modifies Assignment Types: "Yes" if the instructor is allowed to modify assignment types for his or her class. The default value is determined by the setting of Teachers Modify Assignment Types in the My Institution screen in Setup.
  • Records Grades: "Yes" if the instructor is allowed to record the student grades, "No" otherwise. The default value is determined by the setting of Teachers Record Grades in the My Institution screen in Setup.
  • Records Attendance: "Yes" if the instructor is allowed to attendance, "No" otherwise. The default value is determined by the setting of Teachers Record Attendance in the My Institution screen in Setup.
